Betsy is a James Beard, IACP and SATW award-winning journalist. She is coauthor, along with Chef Scott Clark, of Coastal: 130 Recipes from a California Road Trip (Chronicle, 2025).
Henna Bakshi
Henna is an award-winning food and wine journalist and the Regional Editor, South at Eater. She has a decade of experience producing news at CNN and is WSET Level 3 certified. Her work appears in Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, Food & Wine, among others.
Stephen Beaumont
Stephen is the author or co-author of 15 books on beer and spirits, including his paean to beer tourism, Will Travel for Beer, and the fully revised and updated third edition of the international best-seller, The World Atlas of Beer (with Tim Webb).

Stasia is a New England-based food and drink writer. She is a Cicerone-certified beer server, American Cider Association-certified cider guide, beverage judge, and advisory committee member and mentor for the CitySeed x Collab Food Business Accelerator program.
Stacy Briscoe
Stacy is an award-winning wine journalist, with bylines in numerous prestigious publications. Having completed the WSET Diploma, she also teaches WSET courses at Napa Valley Wine Academy. Stacy is often found with a book in hand (and a glass of wine in the other).

Mia is an artist and illustrator from Toronto, Canada. She has illustrated for publications such as The Walrus, Hodder & Stoughton UK and designs movie posters for local Toronto cinemas. She is interested in exploring motifs from folktales and antiquities.

Shana is a freelance wine and sake journalist. She was shortlisted for the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards and Named one of the “Top 20 Wine Writers That Wineries Can Work With” by Beverage Trade Network.
John DeBary
John is an author, consultant, semi-former bartender and hospitality professional. He’s written two cocktail books, Drink What You Want and Saved by the Bellini, and has worked at PDT, Momofuku, and most recently at Mission Chinese Food.
Ruvani de Silva
Ruvani is a British Sri Lankan beverage and food writer specializing in beer, spirits, sustainability and all things Texan, with bylines in The Washington Post, Good Beer Hunting, VinePair and PUNCH, among others. Ruvani is the recipient of the British Guild of Beer Writers Michael Jackson Beer Writer of the Year 2024 award.
Carrie Honaker
Carrie is a Florida-based food, beverage, and travel writer who is not sure where she will land next, but it will involve messy eating and the local dive bar. Her work has appeared in Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, and the coming Florida Cocktail Book.
Courtney Iseman
Courtney is a Brooklyn-based freelance drinks writer with work in outlets including The Washington Post, Food & Wine PUNCH, Craft Spirits & Distilling, Inside Hook and more. She is also a proud pug mom.

Christina has been telling wine stories for more than 15 years, from her former homes in London and Perth, Australia, and now currently in New York’s Hudson Valley. She has contributed, at one time or another, to most of the major drinks publications in Australia, the U.K. and U.S.
Diana Pittet
Diana co-owns Night Owl Hospitality, a cocktail-catering and -education company in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and leads walking tours in New York City about Prohibition and the birth of the cocktail.

Kristen’s fascination with beverage history and the science of drinks act as a guiding force in her work. When she’s not traveling down a rabbit hole of random esoteric booze knowledge, you can usually find her camping, hiking, hanging with her dog, reading or rocking out to metal bands.

For Davon, wine truly is life: she’s a wine educator; sparkling wine consultant; food, wine and travel journalist; and digital creator. She’s also the principal of Cultural Capital Law + Consulting, a holistic trademarks, wine law and brand development firm and strategic consultancy. Yes, “wine law” is really a thing.
John Holl
For more than 20 years, John Holl has been covering the beer industry as a reporter and editor. In 2019, he was “enthroned” by the Knights of The Brewer’s Fork of Belgium, descendants of the ancient brewer’s guild.
Tom Hyland
Tom is a Chicago-based freelance writer specializing in Italian wines, having written two books on the subject, and has contributed to numerous publications including wine-searcher.com and Decanter. His favorite wine is Barolo, but he will never refuse a glass of Champagne.

Nicola Nice
Dr. Nicola Nice is best known for her work as a sociologist and as the founder of the Pomp & Whimsy gin company. Now her debut book, The Cocktail Parlor: How Women Brought the Cocktail Home, explores the untold social history of women and cocktails.
Em Sauter
Based in New England, Em is the founder and cartoonist behind Pints and Panels, a website dedicated to visual beer education. She is an Advanced Cicerone, author of two beer books, and an international beer judge.
Robin Shreeves
Robin is a certified wine professional and wine, food and travel journalist. She loves good wine no matter where it’s made, but, as a Jersey girl through and through, she often champions the wines of her home state and other East Coast regions.
N.C. Stevens
N.C. became interested in the folkways of drinking after living in Madagascar. He has written about a range of drinks, including herbal tea, coffee, beer and the more obscure spirits of the world. His work has appeared in Atlas Obscura, Wine Enthusiast, Slate.com and his self-curated website, DrinkingFolk.com.
