flow into community
Full Pour features an innovative approach to advertising partnerships, reconsidering the traditional media-advertiser model to drive change and positive impact. The magazine’s Flow Into Community program aligns with advertising partners to mutually support nonprofit organizations and improve the food and beverage community in sustainable and equitable ways through promotion, visibility and monetary support. We hope you’ll join us in amplifying the work of the amazing nonprofit organizations that seek to improve our community in so many different yet equally important areas and ways.
What is the Flow Into Community program?
The Flow Into Community program aims to support nonprofit organizations that drive change and positive impact within the food and beverage community at large.
Each issue of Full Pour, published seasonally, includes nonprofit spotlight pages sponsored by Full Pour and a Flow Into Community advertising partner, with organizations selected and mutually agreed upon by both parties.
In addition to the print spotlight page that provides promotion and visibility, the nonprofit organizations are also recipients of donation disbursements from the Flow Into Community giving circle (hosted on Grapevine.org) during the issue season. Funds raised during the three-month seasonal period will be distributed equally among all spotlighted nonprofits from that issue at the end of the cycle. Within the seasonal period, all brands and individuals—including Full Pour readers—are welcome to join the Flow Into Community Grapevine and provide a donation.
Why should my business participate in the Flow Into Community program?
Many business owners want to support their communities but aren’t sure where to start. Flow Into Community makes it easy for you to have a tangible, positive impact through participation in a platform that brings awareness to and support of various causes that are contributing to a better, more equitable future in the food and beverage landscape and beyond.
Traditional print advertising is augmented with nonprofit spotlight pages and the crowd-giving platform, making the Flow Into Community program a true partnership between Full Pour and advertisers. It offers a new approach to media advertising that incorporates progressive thinking and a holistic, ethical perspective to business relationships.
How does the Flow Into Community giving circle work?
The Flow Into Community giving circle is hosted by Grapevine, a simple, all-in-one resource for members and guests to make donations and connect with one another. All brands and people are welcome to participate at any time. There is no requirement to join or minimum donation obligation; we encourage participants to come, share, discuss and promote the work of the nonprofits highlighted, and give whatever they can.
How much do I need to donate?
Whatever you’re comfortable with! Full Pour has committed a monthly donation of $250 (or $750 quarterly) to the Flow Into Community giving circle. Flow Into Community advertising partners are encouraged to participate at their comfort and discretion, and all are welcome to join the Grapevine as a member, with a standing quarterly donation, or as a one-time contributor, with a donation of any amount at any time. There’s no fee to join Grapevine, and you can also edit your contribution settings and preferences through the platform at any time.
How are the organizations selected and vetted?
Organizations are selected by Full Pour and Flow Into Community partners. Nonprofit organizations must be 501(c)(3) charitable organizations or work with a fiscal sponsor of that status. Organizations are selected for their work in bettering the community-at-large of the food and beverage world, and all the areas of life that social drinks touch. This includes various categories and areas of opportunity, including but not limited to programs centered around promoting education, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Are donations tax deductible?
All donations on Grapevine are to verified 501(c)(3) nonprofits in good standing with the IRS. You’ll receive a receipt after you complete your donation. Share your receipt(s) with your accounting team or tax professional for any considerations on claiming the charitable contribution amount(s).
